Cool experience in a old prison !
Beds were very noisy, when you move you wake up everyone. The breakfast was a bit disappointing the 2nd morning (no eggs and not much choice for vegetarian) however the 1st day was very good !!
Great ambience in a old prison. Very well decorated. Nice big kitchen and common area. Good breakfast in general.
The hostel is excellent, location is nice as well - a twenty-minute walk from the old town. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were very comfy.
Nice low budget quiet family hostel
A quiet hostel which seemed to cater more towards families. A renovated old building which doesn't look great from the outside but is lovely inside. Only wanted a double room but ended up with a double bed and two sets of bunk beds so had lots of space.
Beds could have been more comfortable, would have been nice to have a mirror in the bedroom.
Massive rooms, very clean, great showers, excellent kitchen facilities with very tasty breakfast provided. All in a lovely building, with lots of communal space and really happy friendly staff.
Very interesting and atmospheric place.
Bunk beds were a little creaky! Bathroom a bit of a walk from the room.
Fantastic, interesting, historical place. Lots of space and good atmosphere. Good communal dining room, kitchen area and terrace. Very helpful staff kind staff. Easy to get into centre on a tram. Would definately go back and will recommend to friends.
Bed was very basic metal frame. Hard to sit on the edge but other places to sit in the room.
Quirky, unusual building.
Amazing property / experience
We were a group of girls, booked an entire room for a night. it was our first time staying in a hostel - so we didn't knew what to expect. but the room was super clean and so did everything else. We got a shared bathroom - that was clean as well. The shared spaces are very lovely too. The property is amazing, the feeling you get when entering it - so well worth it. Absolutely recommend it!!! You get to stay in a unique property, experience something else rather than the usual already boring hotels.
The very neighborhood is a bit scary and looks more as ruins than as a hotel (neglected “lawn”, old fallen fences etc.) but the interior is refurbished nicely. Prepare to carry your luggage for a long corridor and upstairs (no elevator). Also the walk downtown along a major road, over railway and over a large intersection is quite long.
For a “hostel class” is this facility excellent. The rooms are large enough and everything was very clean. Good breakfast. Great value for money.
Wi-fi could be found in the rooms :-)
Charming place, old building with its history. Comfortable kitchen.
Unique place to stay
We really liked the interior. Spacious room and very nice kitchen-dinning area.

Recommend for one night stay
Beds were comfy, but a little squizy.
2 families stayed in a room for 8 people and for one night it was perfect. Fully equipped public dining facility was specially useful for us as we came very late and could make late dinner for ourselves. Breakfast was really very good: variety and freshness: even russian salads and olives :)
